Valley Lake Leader Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month (September thru May) @ 6:30pm.
Next meeting is: September 9.

We will meet at the Timbers (Pennock & 140th) in the Chapel area (thru front doors to back of main floor). Sign-in required for all attendees.

Start Saving Your Pop-Top Tabs!

The Pop Tab Challenge is back. Junior Girl Scout Troop 51474 has plans underway for the 2011 Pop Tab Challenge Event. We want to spread the word now so girls can get a jump-start collecting tabs over the summer months. Summer is a great time to start collecting those tabs. This is a wonderful community service event and benefits Ronald McDonald House. Stay tuned for more info in the fall. . .

Let's Talk - Main avenues of communication within our Service Unit:

• This Web Site - It's always available and it's updated OFTEN. Make sure to check frequently for up-to-date announcements, & to find flyers & registration for MANY troop activities/events throughout the year.
• Leader's Meetings - Held the first Thursday of each month, Sept. through May, at Augustana Health Care Center, off 147th across from Paideia (new location). Usually they start at 6:30pm and last one hour. These meetings are a great way to meet and learn from other leaders in our area, ask questions, get answers first-hand.
